Shizuka Nomura


History[]

Shizuka Nomura is a 14-year-old girl who able to get around the shyness of Wataru being a motherly figure to him as he teaches her how to play the violin. She seems to be infatuated with Wataru; as a result, she can be jealous of other women. She makes her appearance on the second day of the school festival while searching for Yokai Academy on chapter 22. She immediately stuck to Wataru and tried to chase away the other girls who were spending so much time around him, believing that no other girl would want to get to know Wataru like she did. Wataru attempt to keep her from finding out about the academy's nature and its students, as well as prevent the authorities from discovering she is human. Wataru was forced to reveal his monster heritage after several Fangires entered the school on a mission to destroy it believing that humans and Yokai would never be able to accept one another. Frightened by everyone's true form as monsters, Shizuka decided to take Wataru away from Yokai Academy, but Wataru refused to go, stating that if she can't accept them, then she can't accept him as who he is. It is later revealed that it was Bishop who sent her and supplied her with an orb filled with life energy which unleashed several Sabbats onto the school. After saving the school, Shizuka accepted his friends and gave Moka her blessings after hearing Moka declared her love to Wataru and changing him back to his human form. She is also shown to be very adept at drumming.

Personality[]

Shizuka act as a mother figure to Wataru as he teaches her how to play the violin. She seems to be infatuated with Wataru; as a result, she can be jealous of other women, knowing that no girl would understand him than her. She also states that when he left to Yokai Academy, she was devestated because he didn't call or write her anything. After Wataru and Taiga saved the school, Shizuka accepted the girls as his friends and gave Moka her blessings before she leaves the school.
